Linkous, Louise King

Louise King Linkous, 84, of Blacksburg, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007, in Tampa, Fla. She was born in Giles County on August 23, 1922, to the late Wiley Banks King and Martha Shannon King. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maury Burgess (MB) Linkous.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Winn Russell, Hayes, Kansas; a son and daughter-in-law, Maury and Chris Linkous, Odessa, Florida; five grandchildren, Dora Klein, David Klein, Jason Klein, Allison Roberts, and Mary Velasquez.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday morning at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg. Funeral services, with Dr. Tommy McDearis officiating, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Westview Cemetery.
