Linkous, Jerry Wayne

Jerry Wayne Linkous, age 60, of Blacksburg died, Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Montgomery County, Va. on November 24, 1953 to the late William Lloyd, Sr. and Juanita Walters Linkous. Jerry was in the plastering business with 40 years of service with Linkous Plastering.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Linkous, of Blacksburg, sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Wayne Sr. and Virginia Linkous, of Abingdon, Va., Randal Lee Linkous, Blacksburg, sisters, Millie McPherson and Debbie Foster, both of Christiansburg, brothers and sisters-in-law, William “Billy” and Sherry Linkous, Danny R. Sr. and Pam Linkous, Michael L. and Carol Linkous, all of Christiansburg, grandchildren, Amanda Linkous, Robert Linkous, Jr., of Crystal River, Fla., Madison Linkous, of Dublin, George Linkous, of Abingdon, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Lottie and Paul Sult, of Blacksburg, Mazie Adams, Christiansburg. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 7:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 pm prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
