Linkous, Isabell Kipps

Isabell K. Linkous, age 83, of Blacksburg, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 23, 2019, at home with her family by her side. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Roxie Kipps; sister, Robertine (Bobbie) Linkous; and brother; Milton B. Kipps.

She was a devoted, loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 65 years, Basil L. Linkous; daughters and sons-in-law, Dana L. Sutphin (Sheryl); Kay L. Allen (Tim); Joy L. Palmer (Mark); Michelle L. Wooddell (Larry); a brother-in-law, Curtis H. Linkous; sister-in-law, Mary M. Kipps, all of Blacksburg; grandchildren and spouses, April S. Clark (Brad), Holly S. Gray (John), Samuel J. Bostwick, Jr. (Lori), Amanda N. McFalls (Luke), Marcus H. Moore, Jr. (Stacy), Rusty M. Moore, Trenton J. W. Wooddell, Taylor L. Wooddell; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Aniston Clark, Addison and Cruz Gray, Cooper and Carson Bostwick, Trinity M. Allen (Jesse), Dustin and Caleigh Sheppard, Paisley and Maverick Moore, Ashton Moore; great-great grandchild, Kaiden Thomas, numerous nieces and nephews, special person, Mark H. Moore. A special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. Flowers are appreciated, and those wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation 230 East Ohio St. Suite 500 Chicago, Ill. 60611 for further research to bless others with the strength and ability to overcome this disease. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm Wednesday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
