Linkous, Edwin M.

Edwin M. “Buck” Linkous, age 71, of Blacksburg died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Christiansburg, VA on April 23, 1942 to the late Ralph and Annie Mae Kanode Linkous.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Woolwine Linkous, an infant daughter, Karen Linkous, sisters, Teresa Redd, Faye Pyles, Arlene Reed, brothers, Roger Linkous, Milton Linkous.

He is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Linkous, Michelle Linkous; sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Amanda Linkous, Jeff and Angela Linkous, Mike Linkous, Tony and Shannon Linkous, Darrell and Susan Linkous; sisters, Bonnie Puckett, Carolyn Snead, Betty Linkous; brother, Wayne Linkous; grandchildren, Daniel, Abby, David, Leann, Bailey; great grandchild, Alexis; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 7, 2014 at 10:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
