LINKOUS, Doris Bowyer

Doris Bowyer Linkous, 85, of Wytheville, Virginia (formerly of Christiansburg), died Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at her home.

She was a member of the Wytheville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd A. Linkous; a son, Tony Linkous; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Bill Merkt; a grandson, Christian Merkt; a brother-in-law and his family, Harold, Betty, David, Brenda and Elena Linkous; and two nieces, Cyndy Graham and Carol Mangold.

A graveside service will be held at Sunset Cemetery on Friday, March 24 at 2 p.m. Friends may call at Horne Funeral Service, Inc., Christiansburg, Virginia beginning at 1 p.m. before the service.
