Corbett Woodie Linkous, 62, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Christiansburg, passed away October 29, 2006.

Preceded in death by his son, Glen Corbett Linkous; brother, Marvell Linkous; and sister, Zelma Stephens. Survivors include his loving wife, J. Juanell Linkous; three daughters, Lorie Ann Jackson and husband Chip, Katina Nicole Susan Linkous, and Karmen K. Pitts and husband Ron; five grandchildren, Jesse, Draven, Brandon, Bryndisi, and Victoria; brother, Owen Emlyn Linkous and wife Pauline; and sister, Sally Olina and husband Maxwell; and many loving nieces and nephews.

An active member of the Riverhills Church of God, he retired from Circle K after 28 years of service. He was also an excellent golfer and avid fisherman. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2006 at the Riverhills Church of God, 6310 E. Sligh Ave., Tampa, Fla. 33617.
