Linkous, Arnold Marshall

Arnold Marshall Linkous, age 76, of Christiansburg, died Monday, December 10, 2018, at his home. He was born in Blacksburg, VA on December 19, 1941 to the late George Lee and Sadie Link Linkous. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Carter, and a nephew, Wayne Browing.

He was a member of Christian Fellowship Tabernacle. Arnold was retired from Hubbell Lighting.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edith Christine Linkous; daughters, Marsha Arleen Linkous, Marla Christine Fonseca and husband, Rene, Jr.; sons, Mark Arnold Linkous, Phillip Christopher Linkous and wife, Deby, Casey Scott Linkous; grandchildren, Wesley, Craig, Matthew, Brady, Kayla, Benjamin, Jacob; six great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Ward, Joyce and Vinnie Blevins, Linda Fain, Lois and Leslie Jarels; brothers and sisters-in-law, David (Dan) and Carol Linkous, Tim and Karen Linkous; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4-6 p.m. prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA.
