Link, Gary Dean

Gary Dean Link, 53, of Check and previously of Roanoke and Salem, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert (Bob) Link. Dean was a graduate of Andrew Lewis High School and Virginia Western Community College. He was employed with Graham White Manufacturing and Avis Rent-A-Car.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Yates Link; sister, Anita Kaye Giles; two nieces, Dana Marie Giles and friend, Patrick Nunley, and Jessica Lynn Giles; and many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Little River Baptist Church with the Rev. Allan Vass officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 6 until 8 p.m.

Flowers would be appreciated, however those wishing may make donations to Floyd County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 257, Floyd, VA 24091.
