Link, Frank Vernon

Frank Vernon Link, 85, of Check, Va., passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. He retired after many years of service at Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Flora Link; and sister, Irene Janney. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Laura Yates Link; niece, Judy Boothe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Gardner Funeral Home with Elder W.T. Conner officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
