Lineberry, Virginia Whitt

Virginia Whitt Lineberry, 83, of Dublin, went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 21, 2014. She was born on June 19, 1931, in Draper, Va., to the late John T. and Hallie Worrell Whitt. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Leroy M. Linberry Sr.; brothers, Chester, Rass, Lonnie, Bill and Ed; sister, Katherine W. Taylor; and great-granddaughter, Nataleigh Rachael Clemmons.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Debra L. Morgan and husband, Archie, Roy Lineberry and wife, Connie, Samuel J. Lineberry, Rebecca L. Wright and husband, Richard, all of Dublin; grandchildren, Sean McGrady and wife, Kristy, of Radford, Mark Lineberry and wife, Larisa, of Dubai, Kristi L. Brady of Wilson N.C., Cindy H. Clemmons and husband, Na,t of Shiloh, and Kimberly H. McCuiston and husband, Mark, of Knoxville, Tenn.;10 great-grandchildren;sisters, Mary Frances Myers and husband, Ted, of Greensboro, N.C., and Shirley W. Phillips and husband, David, of Long Island, N.Y.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a loving mother and wife who devoted her life to her family and the Dublin Church of God where she has been a member since 1954. She worked alongside of her husband carrying out the duties of church clerk from 1955 to 1991.She loved to travel, shop, and spend time with her family.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, from the Dublin Church of God, 632 E. Main Street, Dublin, Va., with the Rev. Michael Collins officiating.The family will receive friends, at the church, from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7:30 p.m. Entombment Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2014,from the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Dublin.
