Robert Lindsey passed away October 5, 2007 in Pulaski. He was born January 25, 1936 in Bloomington County, IL, and was the son of the late Rosa Reynolds Lindsey and Eldridge Lindsey.

He was a retired employee of Volvo in Dublin, a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a member of the American Legion Post #7. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Elmer Lindsey, Delmer Lindsey, Freeman Lindsey, Charles R. Lindsey, Wavey DeHart, Emmet DeHart and Thomas DeHart, and a sister Myrtle DeHart Sutton, and two grandchildren Rebecca Lindsey, and Robert M. Lindsey.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Maxwell Lindsey of Pulaski; two sons; Gerald “Jerry” Lindsey of Draper and his special friend Kim Sloan, and Keith Lindsey and his wife Allison of Lexington, NC: two daughters; Denise Alcantara and her husband Tony of Pulaski, and Donna Renee Hill and her husband Peter of Deluth, GA. Also survived by seven grandchildren; Chasity Lindsey, Michael Lindsey, William Lindsey, Alex Alcantara, Meghann Hill, Roger Sloan, and Moriah London and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday October 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Oakwood Cemetery. Visiting will be Sunday at SEAGLES from 2 until 4 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #7 in Pulaski, Va.
