Lindsay, Jo Ann Dowell

Jo Ann Dowell Lindsay, age 82 of Mathews, VA and formerly of Pulaski County, died early Monday morning, February 2, 2015 at Riverside Convalescent Center in Mathews. She was born on June 8, 1932 in West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Thelma A. Blankenship Dowell and Spencer Dowell. She was a retired receptionist at the former Red Carpet Inn in Pulaski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Henry Chapman Lindsay: a step mother Virginia Dowell, and a brother; Thomas Dowell. She is survived by a son; Todd D. Lindsay of Christiansburg: daughters; Diana L. Quesenberry and her husband David of Cobbs Creek, Vickie L. Viers of North, Virginia, and Mary Beth (Robert) Schneeberger of S. Euclid, Ohio: brother, William Dowell of Pulaski: sisters; Mary Jane Blankenship of Pulaski and Mona Dowell of Pulaski. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren.
