Lilly, Vera Lester

Vera Louise Lilly, 75, of Shawsville, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019. Vera attended Seneca Baptist Church for many years and was loved and adored by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Evelyn Lester; and great-granddaughter, Marlee Lilly. Vera is survived by her husband, Jackie Lee Lilly; children, Jackie Lee Lilly II and wife Wendy, Shelia Lilly Ollis, Nickie Hurst and husband Rodney; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Sherwood, Eddie Lester, Bill Lester, Tom Lester, Donna Cook-Yellin; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 4-7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Wes Conner officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
