Lilly, Rosa Ashworth

Rosa Edith Ashworth Lilly, 70, of Flint, Michigan, formerly of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Lilly; her parents, Jarman and Mary Burke Ashworth and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carol Lilly, Flint, Mich.; four grandchildren, Thomas Lilly, Joseph Lilly, Robert Mann, Rachel Mann; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Ann Ashworth, Christiansburg; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Ethel Folassi, California, Mary Lynch, Salem, Hazel Hartsock, Petersburg, Pauline and Theo Barker, Salem.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Everette Etter officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time Thursday at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
