Lester, Lisa Beth Kiser

Lisa Beth Kiser Lester, 55, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009 at her home. Born December 20, 1953 in Bluefield, West Virginia, she was the daughter James and Judith Kiser. Her father-in-law, Robert Lester, preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and her Masters degree from Radford University. She taught for 15 years in the Tazewell County School System and then 15 years in the Pulaski County School System before her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Lester, Dublin; children , Laura Michelle Lester, Jay Michael Lester, Jennifer Beth Lester. all of Dublin; parents, James Kiser and Judith Kiser, Dublin; brothers, Randy Kiser and wife, Janet, Greensboro, N.C., James Kiser and wife, Debbie, Stafford, Va.; mother-in-la, Betty Lester, Mebane, N.C.; brothers-in-law , Raymond Lester and wife, Ginny, St. Louis, Mich., Barry Lester and wife, Mary, Charleston, S.C. and Paul Lester, Mebane, N.C.; sister-in-law , Karen Lester, Charleston, S.C.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Jude Catholic Church, Radford, with the Rev. Ken Shuping officiating. Entombment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
