Lester, Jimmy Rogers

Jimmy Rogers Lester, age 70, of Alum Ridge in Floyd County, passed away at his home, Saturday, June 28, 2014. He was born February 29, 1944 in Floyd County.

He is survived by his wife Sherry Shelton Lester; three children Jamie Lester, Ragan Phillips and Chase Lester; eleven grandchildren; and one sister, Edna Fryer. He was loved greatly and will be sorely missed.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Lester Cemetery with President David Light officiating. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
