Lester, Helen Marie

Helen Marie Lester, 79, of Riner, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Cecil Lester; son, Danny Lee Lester; and her mother and father, Livie and George Dewey Bishop.

Helen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Jeff Young; daughter-in-law, Brenda Lester; grandchildren, Cynthia Bain and husband Sam, Heather Young, Amy Lester, and Travis Lester and wife Laramie; great-grandchildren, Colton Bain, Autumn Fields, Jaxson Fields; and sisters and brother-in-law, Lorine Collins, Frances Dury and husband Don.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Good Sam Hospice for the care given to Helen.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 22, 2018, from 12-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 2 p.m. in the Chapel, with Pastor Phillip Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
