Robert Henry Lee, 52, of Raleigh, N. C., formerly of Radford, Va., passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 27, 2020. He was born in Radford, Virginia to Lincoln Lafayette and Jeanie Foster Lee.

Robert was a graduate of Radford High School where he was an avid football player; and at a young age Robert was a Cub Scout. He was baptized at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Radford, Virginia by Rev. Perkins.

Robert had such a kind and giving personality and a big heart. He and Renee moved to Raleigh, N. C. 20 years ago, where he was employed until his illness at Tyco Security.

Today we celebrate Roberts life to know that he is now at peace and pain free with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

The family wishes to thank each and everyone for phone calls, cards, visits and food. We deeply appreciate each of you.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Lincoln Lafayette Lee; grandparents, Ballard, Sr. and Lottie Lee, and Artemus and Rosa Foster; and mother-in-law, Leilani Sanders.

Robert leaves to mourn his wife of 20 years, Renee Lee of Raleigh, N. C.; six children, Shereka, Johnny, Carmella, Quantanelle, Marquian and Sharif; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. His mother, Jeanie Foster Lee of Forest, Va. and siblings, Kelvin (Faye) Lee of Radford, Va., Karen Lee of Forest, Va., Jennifer Lee of Charlottesville, Va., and Michael (Deborah) Lee of Bristol, Va.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, Va. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jenene Lewis, Rev. Harry Grubb, Rev. Robert Brown and Lay Leader Melissa Webb officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin, Va.
