Lee, Linda Broyles

Linda Lee, 67, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on August 5, 1942. Soon after her birth, her family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, where she made her home until early adulthood. Linda led a quiet life and enjoyed the solace of hiking the Appalachian Trail. She came to settle and live the rest of her life in Christiansburg, Va.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle E. (Lynn) Brewer Broyles and Nile C. Broyles; granddaughter, Chelsea M. Martinez; and niece, Deborah L. Forbus. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah E. Martinez and David Sammon, Clayton, Calif.; daughter, Darcy E. Martinez, San Francisco, Calif.; sister and brother-in-law, Elin B. and James Forbus, Frederick, Md.; grandchildren, Jennifer Serratos and Shawn Sammon, California, and Rebecca Meckel, Illinois; and nephew, David Forbus, Kerrville, Texas.
