Ledford, Elizabeth Whitlock

Elizabeth Whitlock (Betty) Ledford, 82, of Christiansburg, Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, December 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Ledford Jr., of 64 years, passing in January of this year.

She is survived by three children, Brenda Akers, Jim Ledford III, and Cindy Grubb; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice for the wonderful care given in her time of need. The Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Rice officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
