Layman, Edith Evelyn

Edith Evelyn Layman, 92, of Willis, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse H. Layman. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Shelba Layman, Randolph and Maxie Layman; daughter and son-in-law, Eunice and Bob Farris; grandchildren, Terry and Gail Layman, Lisa and Darryl Baker; great-grandchildren, Amanda Hylton, Skylor Layman, Justin Layman, Ryan Baker; special great-niece, Carolyn Shockley. Edith retired from Mabry Mill after 27 years of service. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating.
