Peggy Anne Havens Lawson, 70, of Pulaski, was called Home by God on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, from the Beulah House in Dublin. She was born in Mercer, W.Va. on April 17, 1940. She was a member of the Bob White Blvd. Church of God. She worked as a CNA at Pulaski Retirement Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Havens; her mother, Opal Oblinger; and her son, Gary W. Lawson. Surviving are husband, Robert Lawson; sons, Carl V. Paschal and Shirley Paschal, Jackie L. Lawson and Kelly Dame; daughter, Karen P. Inge and husband, William Inge; daughter-in-law, Mandy Lawson; grandsons, Kacey P. Smith and wife, Natasha Smith, Dillon Paschal, Patrick Lawson, Jason Lawson, Landon Lawson; granddaughters, Kendra L. Huff and husband, Tony Huff, Jessica Paschal; great-grandsons, Parker A. Huff and Andrew, son of Jessica; brother, Earnest Havens and wife, Sally; and long-time family/friend Frances Lawson. Peggy was cremated. A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2011, at the family home, 4950 Novell Loop, Pulaski, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Beulah House, 4704 Caddell Lane, Dublin, VA 24084. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
