Lawrence, David Ray

David Ray Lawrence, age 62, of Pleasant Garden, NC., formerly of Christiansburg died, Sunday, September 11, 2016, at his home. He was born in Montgomery County, Va. on January 29, 1954 to the late Harry and Sylvia Wickline Lawrence.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Lawrence. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Wayne Owens, son and daughter-in-law, David Andrew and Robyn Lawrence, grandchild, Caleb Lawrence, brothers, Steve Lawrence, Robert Bandy, special companions, Blessing and Erma Lawrence, special friends, Darrell and Steve.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Pamela Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Peterstown Cemetery, Peterstown, WV.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to David Andrew Lawrence to offset expenses.

The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 am Friday morning prior to the service at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
