Law, Sandra Burleson

Sandra Lee Law, age 78, of Ballard, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at the Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, VA. Born May 28, 1941, in Midway, WV, she was the daughter of the late Basil H. and Ruth M. Eller Burleson.

Sandra was a retired employee of the First National Bank of Peterstown, where she worked for more than 30 years. She attended the Ballard Baptist Church and loved gardening and flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Law; and one brother, Pete Burleson. Survivors include one sister, Judy Childress and husband Harold of Tobaccoville, NC; one niece, Cathy Taylor of Pulaski, VA; one great nephew, Matthew Taylor and wife Amy of Draper, VA; and her loving dog, Lucy.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Wayne Sibold officiating. Burial will follow at Peterstown Cemetery in Rich Creek, VA. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.
