LaRocca, Joseph

Joseph LaRocca, 65, of Blacksburg, formerly of Arkansas, died Monday, March 18, 2013, at the VA Medical Center, Salem. He was born in Lockport, N.Y. on May 17, 1947, to the late Vincent and Esther LaRocca and was also preceded in death by his sister, Prudy Holsapple. He is survived by his wife, Emma LaRocca of Alma, Ark.; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Mike Furrow, of Newport; nephews, David Remington and wife, Christy of Rochester, N.Y., Steven Remington and wife, Melissa, of Dublin; great-nephews, Daniel, Thomas, Nathanael, Christopher, Clay, Drew, and Ty Remington. Thank you to all his spiritual brothers and sisters at the Blacksburg Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. You gave him your love, strength and courage. Services to be held at a later date.
