Largen Jr., George Washington

George Washington Largen Jr., 92, of Pulaski, passed away Friday evening November 7, 2014 in the Highland Ridge Rehab in Dublin. He was born in Dublin on April 2, 1922 and was the son of the late George Washington Largen Sr. and Annie Lou Roope Largen.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alice Mae Surratt Largen. He was a long time employee of Tilley Paint Co. and was a veteran of the Army.

Surviving are his daughters and sons in law, Kathy and Michael Hodge, Barbara Largen, Bonnie and Steve Booth; sons and daughter in law, Donald and Judy Largen, Jeff Largen; sisters, Ruby McGrady, Betty Horton, Priscilla Ramirez; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Ballew officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. till the service hour at the funeral home.
