Lang, Joyce Davis

Joyce Davis Lang, 68, of Christiansburg, died Monday, July 25, 2016 at Skyline Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Montgomery County, VA on September 7, 1947 to the late Warren E. and Ocie Richards Davis.

She was also preceded in death by all 11 of her siblings. She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael L. Lang, Samuel H., Jr. and Jennifer Hicks-Lang; three grandchildren, Jaimee Lynn Hicks, Katelyn Lang, Stephanie Lang, and two other grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Carol Davis, Vivian Davis, and Joyce Dillelo; a special niece, Ann Merrill and husband, Bud; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewey O. Weaver, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Friday prior to the funeral at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
