Lane, William Lee

William Lee Lane, 81, of Pulaski, Va., died on Thursday, March 11, 2010, in Pulaski Community Hospital. He was born on November 1, 1928, in Pulaski County, and was the son of the late Nancy Southern Lane and Allen Thomas Lane. He was a retired employee of Radford Army Ammunition Plant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Garfield Lane and Henry A. Lane. He is survived by a brother, Garland Stuart Lane, of Newbern; and a sister-in-law, Jerry Covey Lane, of Pulaski. Graveside funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin with the Rev. Donald Roseberry and the Rev. Gary Sheppard officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, March 12, 2010, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home.
