Lane, Wanda Moore

Wanda Dawne Lane, 60, of Pembroke, departed this life on Monday, July 11, 2011, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke after a short illness. Born in Radford on January 24, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Gladys Ratcliffe Moore. She was a graduate of Radford High School and was employed with Moog in Blacksburg. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Donald W. Lane, of Pembroke; her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Jr. and Sandra Stewart, of Chattanooga, Tenn., Jeffrey and Susan Stewart, of the United States Air Force in Germany, William Carl III and Brenda Capps Wilburn, of Fairlawn, and Joshua James and Kristin Wilburn, of Princeton, W.Va.; her daughter and son-in-law, Heather Wilburn and Jason Norris, of Asheboro, N.C.; her stepdaughters, Barbara D. Carter and her husband, Johnny Lee Carter, of Goldbond, and Drema D. Rhodes, of Goldbond; her sister, Norma Hart and her husband, Glenn, of Virginia Beach; and her nine grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011, in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
