Lane, Dona W.

Dona W. Lane, 69, of Wilderness Road, Newbern, passed away Monday, June 16, 2008, at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born December 15, 1938, in Hollybrook, Va. She was the daughter of the late Jesse H. Wright and Bertha Ann Ramsey Wright.

Surviving are her husband, Garland Lane, of Newbern; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda Lane Roop and husband, Don, of Pulaski, and Amy Lane McCauley and husband, John, of North Carolina; grandchildren , Ashley Ann Roop, Amanda Michelle McCauley and Kristen Marie McCauley; brothers and sister-in-law, Chester Wright, of Dublin, and Jesse Clayton Wright and wife, Vernice, of Florida; and sister , Joan Allen, of Newbern.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at the Newbern Cemetery with the Rev. Henry A. Conley officiating.
