Lane, David Anderson

David Anderson Lane, 80 of Rich Creek, VA went home to be with his Lord, Sunday, September 25, 2016 at his home. Born August 5, 1936 in McDowell County, WV he was the son of the late Steve Anderson and Nora Jane Mullins Lane.

Mr. Lane retired from the Celanese Corp. as a Millwright. He was a faithful member and Deacon of the Riverview Baptist Church at Ripplemead, VA.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Roby Lane and a sister, Rachel Fizer. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret Ann Lively Lane, daughter Deborah L. Bradley and husband Donny of Cashmere, WV, brother, Nathan Lane and wife Shirley of Peterstown, WV, seven sisters, Frances Allen of Peterstown, WV, Hazel Ballard of Beckley, WV, Causby Johnson of West Jefferson, OH, Reatha Allen and husband Russell of Amosville, VA, Mary Titman of Reynoldsburg, OH, Janie Keatley and husband Jimmy of Iron City, FL and Edith Mullett of Columbus, OH, grandchildren, James Bradley and wife Jen of Christiansburg, VA and Rosanna Pollard and husband Jamie of Lindside, WV, great grandson, Jaxon Pollard, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Riverview Baptist Church, Ripplemead, VA with Pastor Shahn Wilburn and Pastor Terry Easter officiating. Burial will follow in the Peterstown Cemetery, Giles County, VA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
