Lambert, Don G.

Don G. Lambert, of Blacksburg, died on Friday, December 23, 2011, at the age of 77. He was a professor of Chemistry at the New Jersey Institute of Technology for thirty-four years before retiring and moving back to Blacksburg with his wife Arlean in 2010. Born in Oklahoma, he graduated from Oklahoma State and did graduate work at Virginia Tech and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Arlean Hale Lambert; and sons David and Jacob and his lovely wife Kirsten and dear little three year old son, Conor, who presently live in Philadelphia, Pa., Spookie and Buttercup; two loving cats must also be included.

In lieu of flowers, contributions could be made to the HaleY Community Gardens, YMCA, 1000 North Main St., Blacksburg, VA, 24060.
