Lamb, Dorothy King

Dorothy Alice King Lamb, 97, of Christiansburg died, Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Lewis-Gale Hospital-Montgomery. She was born in Willis, VA on March 12, 1918 to the late Rufus and Alice Stuphin King.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Andrew Karl Kanode.

She is survived by her husband, Burley Edward Lamb, of Christiansburg; daughters, Betty (Kermit) Kanode, of Christiansburg, and Mary “Snookie” (Douglas) Caldwell, of Lexington; grandchildren, Jeremy and Erin Caldwell, of Charlotte, NC, Seth and Marine Caldwell, of Lexington, VA, Courtney Kanode, of Christiansburg; great-grandchildren, Lillie and Anna Caldwell, Kelsie and Josie Caldwell, and Camron Kanode. Mrs. Lamb has requested no services.
