Lafon, Bonnie Robertson
Bonnie Jean Robertson Lafon, 68 of Pembroke, VA departed this life February 8, 2021 in the care of her loving family. Born in Giles County, VA on August 15, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Francis Earl Robertson Sr. and Lena Lafon Robertson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph Robertson, and Horace Robertson. Shortly after her new journey began, she was reunited with her brother, John Robertson.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of over 50 years, Edwin “Joe” Lafon; her son, Michael Lafon (Sherry) of Bear Springs; granddaughter, Sienna Lafon; a brother, Francis “Smokey” Robertson (Carolyn); and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service to celebrate the life of Bonnie Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, VA with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. We ask that Covid-19 regulations be observed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or any Cancer Research or support center who are valiantly fighting for the cure.
