Koslow, Katherine Milloway
Katherine Lee Milloway Koslow, 96, passed on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Blacksburg, Va. She was born in Norwood, Va. on March 12, 1920, daughter of Tony Lee Milloway and Ann Carrico.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William Joseph Koslow and sister, Beatrice M. West.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Lee and Robert T. Muse Jr. of Blacksburg.
“Tiffy” as she was known by her friends was raised and married in Richmond. She lived most of her adult life in Chesapeake before moving to Blacksburg to be near her daughter. Tiffy excelled as an athlete at John Marshall High School in Richmond. In Chesapeake, Tiffy was a member of St. Bride’s Episcopal Church and the Tanglewood Garden Club. She volunteered for Chesapeake General Hospital Auxiliary, coached softball, played bridge and was an exceptional seamstress. Her friendships were always important to her.
Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond on Friday, December 9, 2016 will be private. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at The Crossings at Blacksburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Head Start program or charity of your choice.
