Alice Hampton Dalton Knode, 88, of Pulaski, passed away Monday, December 11, 2006 at the Oak Haven Lodge, Floyd. Born March 30, 1918 in Pulaski, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Amelia Reynolds Dalton. Her husband, Eldee Monroe (Red) Knode, seven brothers and one baby sister also preceded her in death.

She was a former Sweet Ore employee with over 25 years of service.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Kenneth Allanson, Richmond; grandchildren , Stacey Marie Allanson, Farmville, Va., Yvonne Berry and husband Allan, Chesterfield, Va.; great-granddaughter, Lindsay Wilson; great-grandson, Adrian Berry; four stepgrandchildren; sister, Edith Brown, Radford.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. John Grimm, the Rev. Bobby Brown and Pastor O.D. Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski.
