Waneta Sneath Kipps, 85, of Blacksburg, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at Radford Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Richland Center, Wis. on February 17, 1925 to the late Amos and Elva Robinson Sneath. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence B. (Jack) Kipps, one brother, Buren Sneath, a great-grandson, Tyler Smith, and daughter-in-law, Carol Kipps. She is survived by her four sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Kipps, Rex Kipps, Perry and Gale Kipps, Ryne Kipps; grandchildren, Clayton Kipps and wife, Regina, Sheila Kipps Price, Kyle Kipps, Missy Smith and husband, Wally, Brian Kipps and wife, Alicia, Mark Kipps, Katy Kipps; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, June and her husband, Wilber and Waneta’s twin, Wanda Vaught. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Layne Board, Mr. Donnie Board and the Rev. Clayton Kipps officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association , Central and Western VA Chapter-Roanoke Region, 2728 Colonial Ave., Suite 2, Roanoke, Va. 24015.
