Linda Jane Kinser, age 74 of Pulaski passed away peacefully on September 2 at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital surrounded by her family. Born June 18, 1944 in Pulaski she was the daughter of the late Dennis & Mozelle Ratcliffe.

Linda Jane was a lifelong member of the Pulaski Church of God where she taught Sunday School, was active in the Ladies Ministries and a member of the choir. She will be fondly remembered in the community for her delicious baked goods, especially her pumpkin rolls and fried apple pies. The light of her life was her family and the joy of her heart was her two grandchildren, Matthias and Maddison.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis & Mozelle Ratcliffe, three brothers, Winfred Ratcliffe, Buddy Ratcliffe, Rodney Ratcliffe and sister, Louise Hagee.

Daughters – Robin Hall & husband, Richard, Melissa Honaker & husband, Mike – All of Pulaski,

Two Grandchildren – Matthias and Maddison Honaker,

Sisters – Dreama Whitaker & husband, Milford – Greensboro, NC, Judy Gregory – Pulaski,

Sisters-in-law – Gay Kinser – Southport, NC, Brenda Scott & husband, Rodney – Pulaski,

Many nieces and nephews, along with many friends

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM – Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Pulaski Church of God with Pastor Travis Gore and Rev. Mike Honaker officiating. A family interment will be 11:00 AM – Wednesday at the Thornspring UMC Cemetery, Pulaski.

The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at the Church before service time.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Linda’s memory be made to the “Caregivers” @ Pulaski Church of God.
