Kingrea, Danny Lee

Danny Lee Kingrea, 58, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away after a long illness on August 2, 2020 surrounded by his family. Danny was born on February 1, 1962. He was preceded in death by his father, James M. Kingrea.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Terry Dudley Kingrea; son, Christopher Kingrea; daughter, Candace Kingrea Gillenwater and highly thought of son-in-law, Matthew Gillenwater; granddaughter who was raised as a daughter, Destiny Kingrea; grandchildren, Brooklynne, Zachary, and Lillian Dowdy, and Tyler Kingrea; mother, Annie Bell Chewning; and siblings, Patti Palmer and David Kingrea (Michelle).

Danny delivered propane for many years. He was always there to lend a hand when needed. He was a jack-of-all trades and was a very hard worker. Danny was one to never complain and he fought hard to the end. He was loved very much by his family and will be dearly missed by everyone.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 6, 2020, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020, at 1 p.m. at the New Life Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, with Pastor Tom Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
