Kingrea, Arold Sherwood

Arold Sherwood (Johnny) Kingrea, 70, of Pilot, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born November 28, 1936 in Montgomery County, the son of the late Dewey S. and Emma Winfrey Kingrea. He was a member of the Union Valley Lighthouse Family Ministries.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Katie D. Kingrea, of Pilot; son and daughter-in-law, James (Jimmy) and Susan L. Kingrea; daughter, Connie M. Kingrea; three grandchildren, Jessica D. Kingrea, A. J. M. Akers and William S. Akers; one brother, Albert Kingrea; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Hazel and John Frazier, Annie and Cecil Hatcher.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2007 at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Light House Family Ministries on Union Valley Road with the Rev. Buford Linkous and the Rev. Steve Akers officiating. Interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery.
