King, William Greer

William Greer King, 66, of 5052 Clarks Ferry Road, Draper, Va., died early Sunday morning, July 6, 2008, at his home. He was born in Pulaski County on August 13, 1941, and was the son of the late Jesse G. King and Lillian Rose Vires King. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Ann King Castro and Carlos Alberta Castro, of Strausburg, Va.; grandchildren, Tracey Lee King, Santana Lynn Castro, Carlos Alberta Castro Jr., Mark Alen Shamron Castro and Destiny Shyann Castro; sister, Virginia L. Ezzell, of Draper; brothers, James T. King, of Draper, and Travis D. King, of Manassas; nephews, Robert D. Ezzell, of Manassas, and James J. King, of Palm Bay, Fla.; nieces, Virginia Ann Ezzell, of Centreville, Va., Tracy K. Olson, of Richmond, Va., Kelly M. King, of Falls Church, Va., Amanda King, of Manassas, and Brittany King, of Manassas; greatnephew and niece, Branden King and Breann King; and aunts, Carrie Hurt, of Pulaski, and Lima Vires, of Pulaski.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008, from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Earnest Chinault and the Rev. Diane Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with the Pulaski VFW Post #1184 conducting the Military Graveside Rites.

Visiting will be held on Tuesday evening, July 8, 2008, at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
