King, Lawrence William

Lawrence William King, age 86, formerly of Peterstown, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019, at his home in Bonita Springs, FL. Born June 25, 1933, in Jenkinjones, WV, he was the son of the late Lawrence King and Margaret Vance King Myers.

He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He retired from AEP after 38 years as a mechanical engineer. Additionally, he worked at William S. Broyles Funeral Home in Peterstown prior to being drafted into the military.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hughes King. He is survived by his son, Larry King of Bonita Springs, FL.
