King, Kate Frances Epperly
Kate Frances Epperly King, 89, of Floyd, Va., passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace King; two sons, Lane Wimmer and Earl King; and one daughter, Mary King Peters.
She was a faithful member of Stonewall Methodist-Brethren Church. Surviving are three sons, Sidna Wimmer and wife, Margaret, of Olympia, Wash., Richard Wimmer and wife, Linda, of Floyd, Va., and John King and wife, Sandy, of Marietta, Ga.; three daughters, Sarah Quesenberry and husband, Donnie, of Willis, Va., Audrey Brown and husband, George, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Gwinn Angle and husband, Sam, of Radford, Va.; three sisters, L Z Wimmer, of Salem, Va., Jane McKee, of Tampa, Fla., and Georgia Cox, of Christiansburg, Va.; one brother, Daniel Epperly and wife, Sylvia, of Pilot, Va.; two daughters-in-law, Mary Clark and husband, Reginald, of Copper Hill, Va., and Frances McCoy and husband, John, of McCoy, Va.; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Stonewall Methodist-Brethren Church with the Reverend Darren Landon officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Cemetery.
