King, Geneva Kathleen

Geneva Kathleen King, 79, of Curve Road, Pearisburg, departed this life Saturday morning November 3, 2012, at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg after a long illness. Born in Pearisburg on November 24, 1932, she was a daughter of the late James Walker and Myrtle Mae Robertson Havens. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Wallace King; her daughter, Joyce Lynn King; her son, Ralph W. King; her brothers, Ed, James (Pete), Walter (Pam), Joe, and Gene Havens. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Dickie King, of Pearisburg; her siblings William and Ann Havens, of Pearisburg, Mildred Robertson, of Pearisburg, John and Sue Havens, of Warrenton, Robert and Peggy Havens, of Pearisburg, Marvin and Hazel Havens, of Pearisburg, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke, with Pastor Gary Poff officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
