King, Eugene D.

Eugene D. King, 68, of Pilot, passed away at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, Va. Eugene was born May 25, 1942 to the late Junior and Gladys King in Kingston, West Virginia. He loved his family and his country. He showed his devotion by serving in the Marine Corps. He retired after a long and successful career at Crane Plastics, Inc. He is survived by Peggy Ramey; his daughter, Tina King; son, Todd (Angela) King; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the VAMC Hospice Care Unit: ATT Susan Hall, 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem VA 24153-6483.
