Kilby, Barbara Ann Jones

Barbara Ann Jones Kilby, 61, of Radford, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. She was born on August 15, 1949, in Grayson County, Va. She was preceded in death by her father, James Harold Jones; and mother, Jenell J. Atway. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Lane “Sonny” Kilby Jr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Darren “Bo” Kilby and wife, Mary, and Stephen Kilby and wife, Stephanie; special daughter, Katie Akers; special adopted son, Kenny Montgomery; grandchildren, Brooke Kilby and fiance, Jamie Perdue, Cody and Gracie Kilby, and Matthew Blevins; greatgrandchildren, Kyleigh and Jammi; sister, Geri and spouse, Mike Young, of Dublin; along with nine very special nieces and nephews; devoted friends and neighbors and special co-workers of the Pulaski County School Board, where she was a bus driver for approximately 30 years. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2011, at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Albert “Junior” Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Hickman Cemetery, Pulaski County, Va.
