Kichline, Ulysses Grant Lynn

Ulysses (Peanut) Grant Lynn Kichline, 97, of Newport, Va. and formerly of Dover, Del., passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

He was born in Dover, Del., on October 10, 1910, to the late William and Kate Kichline. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Dover. Peanut was the parts manager for Holden Dodge in Dover for many years. He enjoyed his photography and showing it and being with people at the Dover Modern Maturity Center in Dover. He was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Carol Ann and Ray Howell, of Newport, Va.; daughter, Catherine Rae Hudson, of Hartly, Del.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and friends, Conny and Rodney Hudson.

Remembrance services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, Del. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden, Del. Friends may also call Wednesday, one hour before time of the service at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover, Del.
