Keys, James David

James David Keys, 83, of Blacksburg, died Friday, November 7, 2008, at the VA Medical Center. He was born in Montgomery County, Va. on May 28, 1925, to the late Fleming and Easter Sherman Keys.

He is survived by his wife, Delores L. Keys, of Blacksburg; two daughters, Gloria Keys, of Blacksburg, and Delores C. MulVaney and husband, Richard, of Sterling, Va.; sister, Ida Gaitor, of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Joe McDaniel, of Columbus, Ohio; numerous grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at 1 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Jones officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Mrs. Betty Basham-Chairman, 200 Evans Street, Christiansburg, Va. 24073.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
