Kesterson, Percy Hubert

Percy Hubert Kesterson, 84, of Christiansburg , Va., passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Rush Kesterson; father and mother, William and Ethel Mills Kesterson. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Hubert J. Kesterson, William Kesterson and wife, Drema; grandchildren, Crystal Huff and husband, Daniel, Brian Cox and wife, Jocelyn; great-grandchildren, Matthew Huff, Dylon Huff, Elizabeth Cox, Chelsea Cox, Melanie Cox, Samantha Cox; brothers, Hanford (Hank) Kesterson and wife, Gen, and Bobby Kesterson; sister, Dorothy Sheppard. Percy loved his grandchildren, going to church, and visiting the nursing homes. The family will accept friends Thursday, October 28, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m. at New Hope Church of God in Christiansburg, Va. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 29, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the church with the Reverend Michael Bond, the Reverend Wayne Poston, and the Reverend Randy Woolwine officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg, Va. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, Va.
