Kessinger, Gregory Alan

Gregory Alan Kessinger, age 35, of Riner, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at his home. He was born in Radford May 24, 1976. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ethel and James Cunningham; his paternal grandparents, Clarice and Harold Kessinger; and his brother-in-law, Patrick Boody. He is survived by his, wife, Kimberly Kessinger. Also surviving is one daughter and four sons, all of Christiansburg, daughter, Willow, sons, Ethan, Ezra, Evan, and Eli. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Joyce Boothe, of Riner; and his father, Gary Kessinger, of Blacksburg. Funeral services will be conducted 8 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jodie Whitaker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund for the children at Carter Bank and Trust.
